Austin Window Fashions, Inc.
is a Texas owned and operated company that has been specializing
in providing custom window coverings to homeowners, builders,
and businesses since 1981. The San Antonio branch of our company
is operated under the name Window Fashions of Texas. Our 10,000
square foot centrally located headquarters is in Austin at
10321 Burnet Rd., behind Lighting Inc. Our headquarters is
home to Central Texas’ best and most comprehensive window
covering showroom, our administrative offices, and our factory,
where we manufacture custom plantation shutters. In San Antonio
our 2500 square foot Window Fashions of Texas Store is located
at 7243 Blanco Rd. next to Lighting Incorporated. Our facility
in San Antonio includes South Texas most comprehensive window
covering showroom and our administrative offices.
Window Coverings represents a
very specific niche market; however, most of our competitors
still only effectively and competitively sell part of what
constitutes a complete offering. Many window-covering businesses
may be able to effectively and competitively sell items like
blinds and shades; however, most are ill prepared to offer
other products such as shutters. Austin Window Fashions and
Window Fashions of Texas are unique in our industry in that
we effectively and competitively sell and service the broadest
and best product mix available.

We manufacture wood plantation shutters at
our Burnet Rd. facility. Our shutter offering features premium
quality, competitive prices, and the fastest delivery available!
We were awarded two of the initial and very exclusive Gallery
dealership licenses by the leading name brand in our industry,
Hunter Douglas Window Fashions. The “Gallery”
program was set-up by Hunter Douglas to recognize and establish
a close partnership with the small group of “Super Dealers”
that they identified in the nation. The “Gallery”
evaluation process was based on the following criterion:
Successful, long-term track record of both outstanding sales
volume and service.
Proper Staffing (i.e. service, sales, and administrative organization
in place)
Facilities suitable for substantial, new display environment.
Financial Stability
There are currently about two hundred Gallery dealers in the
entire country. We are currently the only Hunter Douglas Gallery
dealers in Central and South Texas. As a Hunter Douglas Gallery,
we are able to provide a the largest selection, a showroom
and displays that help you make good decisions, every day
low prices, and much more that you will only find at a Hunter
Douglas Window Fashions Gallery showroom
Most of our orders are professionally measured
and installed by a member of our staff. In addition to installations
our technicians have the knowledge, tools, and materials required
to perform most repairs at the customer’s home. We currently
have four full-time installers who are all Austin Window Fashions
employees, driving company owned vans, fully covered by all
necessary insurance.
We have an experienced, highly trained sales staff that is
available to serve you both in our showroom and in your home.
Our staff of highly trained technicians, our outstanding administrative
staff, and our innovative use of technology permit us to offer
superior, timely service. When you call Austin Window Fashions
or Window Fashions of Texas for service you do not get an
answering machine. A member of our staff is available during
our published business hours to assist you with any service
need you may have.
