Description:

We are seeking a combination of technical and marketing knowledge to optimize websites and other related essentials to improve organic/natural search engine rankings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful SEO specialist will use Noon-an-Night’s tools to track site rankings, traffic, and eventually sales. This data will be used to develop plans for improving sites’ placement. This job requires excellent computer and internet skills, and the ability to comprehend search engine ranking techniques. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each vital duty of the job outlined below, and to accept special projects as assigned. Website Optimization Strategies

• Website optimization for search engines: HTML, site linking structure, and page layout issues.

• Recognize and apply strategies for increasing traffic through natural search listings without creating the risk of being banned.

• Understanding how search engines and their spiders/robots work by conducting research and reporting key advances and news

• Research and resolve link architecture, HTML code, and content and navigation issues

• Assist in layout of website pages as needed Tracking and Reporting • Constantly monitor natural/organic search rankings to maximize traffic and conversions.

• Analyze website strategies and decipher unreliable or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for modifying SEO strategies • Create and review daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for multiple online sites and promotions External Links

• Build high quality relevant link partners Keyword Research

• Keyword research using WordTracker, Overture, Google, and in-house tools classify, organize, and refine keyword lists
Experience:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Applicants should also have experience in the essential duties outlined above.

• 3+ years experience in online advertising/marketing, preferably search engine optimization related

• Search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, and affiliate marketing experience deeply desired

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Math, Computer Science, MIS, Business, English, Journalism, Advertising, or Communications

• Proficient in the use Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer –Able to work well with minimum supervision.

• Knowledge and experience with HTML, Access and Excel • Experience downloading reports from the Internet and creating reports with the downloaded data

• Excellent verbal communication skills • An ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment

• Demonstrated ability to manage details, efficient work habits, and overall flexibility

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

• Must be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment along with the ability to accept interruptions as part of the routine

• Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
